| Gran Canaria is one of the 7 Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean just off the coast of Africa. The islands have been Spanish territory since 1483. With their good weather all year round they are one of the best destinations in Europe to enjoy a sunny holiday. On the island you can find 3 different climate zones in very small distances. That is also why it is known as a little continent. In the south of Gran Canaria you will find the resort of Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico there are two harbours. The "Barakuda Dos" is moored in the "Puerto Base". |
